Alpha Games Website

One of the most rewarding projects in my portfolio is the website I created for Alpha Games, a hobby store based in Stanton, Suffolk, specialising in Warhammer games, miniatures, and accessories. Built for a friend looking to grow his passion into a thriving business, the site needed to do more than just sell products, it had to foster a sense of community, promote events, and ultimately position the business for a successful sale to a new owner.

The website featured a clean, immersive design tailored to the gaming audience, with an easy-to-navigate online store that showcases the full range of Warhammer products. Each item includes high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and integrated stock management for smooth order processing. To support the local gaming scene, I built a dedicated events section to highlight upcoming tournaments, painting competitions, and casual game nights, which quickly became a central hub for the community.

To build long-term value, I implemented SEO best practices, a mobile-friendly layout, and integrated social media sharing tools. As the store’s visibility grew, so did its customer base, both locally and online. The website played a crucial role in turning Alpha Games into a profitable, well-regarded brand, strong enough to attract interest from potential buyers.

In the end, the site helped my friend not only build a successful business but also transition it smoothly to new ownership.
